Rules
Short version: don’t take other people’s stuff, don’t cheat, don’t be a nuisance. The rest is detail.
Some of these are enforced automatically by the server. Where that’s the case it’s marked — those aren’t judgement calls, the server just does it.
1. Don’t take or break what isn’t yours
Griefing, stealing and raiding other people’s builds get you removed.
Claiming is how you protect things — see claims. An unclaimed build is not protected by the server, but “it wasn’t claimed” is not a defence for taking it. The rule applies regardless.
2. No cheating
X-ray, cheat clients, fly hacks, duplication glitches, macro-farming while you’re away from the keyboard. Any of these and you’re gone.
Client-side mods that only change how the game looks are fine — minimaps, shaders, sound mods. If you’re unsure, ask before you install it.
Found a dupe or an exploit? Report it in Discord instead of using it. We’d much rather fix it, and people who report get credit rather than a ban.
3. PvP and combat
PvP is on. If you don’t want a fight, don’t start one and don’t linger where one is happening.
Combat logging is enforced by the server
Disconnect while combat-tagged and you die, dropping your items where the fight was. This isn’t a punishment we apply by hand — it’s automatic.
Spawn-camping and repeatedly hunting the same new player is harassment, and gets treated as such.
4. Ships and claims
- Place → claim → name. Capturing a claimed ship with a portable structure item orphans its claim and leaves an abandoned ship behind. See airships
- Don’t park ships on top of someone else’s claimed land without asking
- Don’t build in a way designed to block someone else’s access
5. Chat and community
- English in main chat so staff can moderate it
- No slurs, harassment, or sexual content
- No advertising other servers
- Chat is bridged to Discord — the same standards apply in both directions
6. Alt accounts
One account per person for claim purposes. Using alts to multiply your chunk allowance isn’t allowed.
Sharing an account is at your own risk — whatever happens on it is your responsibility.
7. Lag and server health
Enormous item-drop piles, runaway mob farms and giant always-on contraptions affect everyone. If staff ask you to shut something down or scale it back, do it.
We’d rather help you redesign it than delete it, so talk to us early.
What happens if you break a rule
Most things start with a warning, because most things are misunderstandings. Griefing, cheating and harassment skip straight to a removal.
Think a decision was wrong? Appeal in Discord. Argue it there, not in chat.
Staff will never ask for your password
Nobody on staff needs it, ever. Anyone asking is not staff.
